Our important concept for the day was the 3 elements of a (western) narrative:

• Character (the 'who'of the story)
• Setting (the 'where and when' of the story)
• Plot (the 'what and how') 

Typical CCCS Comprehension Reading Test questions will include:

1. Who are the main characters of the story?
2. What is the setting of the story?
